Thanks right, I'm talking about lingerie! I'm doing a commercial of my own for this one!
I love these panties! I feel sexy putting them on. I feel sexy wearing them. And I feel sexy taking them off *wink wink*. They come in one size fits all, which is amazing. They are fashionable, comfortable and seriously do not dig into your hips so even less panty lines & muffin top! What woman wouldn't love that?
They are a little pricey but if you can grab a bunch on sale or at a discount store, just do it! You'll love em!
Once again I can't find the video of the commercial that is to be my topic. So you all will have to use your imagination.
It is one of M&M's new commercials for their M&M inside you campaign. A big purple M&M is in the laundry mat and her contact flies out. She holds her big gloved hand over her eye and says "nobody move, my contact just came out." and an actual human sitting nearby reading, points and says "is that it?" She doesn't even look up from her book because the M&M contact is that big! The M&M grabs the contact and pops it back in just as her other one pops out and she does the same routine and the lady points without looking up once again.
I think it's hilarious! M&M is doing well at joining the rest of us in the 2000s. Although in my opinion M&M shouldn't have to do too much marketing because they will always be a staple in my diet. But I suppose the kids these days have so much to choose from that they need some brightly colored talking candy to convince them to purchase.
This commercial came up in conversation this past weekend. (I told you that I'm that girl that talks about commercials like everyone watches tv as much as I do, and not just stuff recorded on DVR either.) Everyone laughed after my reenactment. I'm not sure if the credit should go to the advertising company for the idea or to me for my performance.
Call me a hippy tree-hugger, but my dream car has been a Subaru since I could drive. Someday it will come true. There is just something about those cars and the people that make them that sings my tune.
I especially like this commercial because it shows the culture of the people that purchase Subaru vehicles. Those things last forever so it's hard not to get attached, I'm sure. And you just know that car is going to enjoy it's resting place!
I was just reading an article about the trash that illegal immigrants leave behind during their trek across the border. The local communities are using their resources to gather it up and throw it away only to have more trash add up the next month.
The thing is that some of this stuff isn't exactly trash. It is family pictures, clothing, back packs, bibles, etc. that the people never intended on letting go of. But the trek gets hard and they have to start letting go of the things that were so precious to them.
The article even said that the groups find around 4,000 water bottles.
I say that instead of just throwing all that stuff away they should donate the usable clothes, books, back packs and stuff. And they could totally recycle the water bottles that are left behind. I'm sure the communities could even make a profit if they are that many water bottles lying around.
The pictures could be used as historical data eventually too, like at Ellis Island. Or a database could be set up so that the people could get their mementos back. I don't know I'm just brain storming here.
Sometimes you have to turn that frown upside down, especially if the issue is as complicated as illegal immigrants.
Yesterday my family found out that my grandma has colon cancer. We will find out how bad it is on Friday but just the thought makes me sad. She's in her late 80's and she's had a full life. She raised five children, blossomed in a church community, directed a pre-school, baptized me in her kitchen sink, traveled all over the world and touched so many lives! To be honest I think she wanted to leave this earth shortly after my grandpa died.
I had a feeling that this would be the year that I would loose her but it still doesn't make it feel very good. I have so many heart warming memories because of her. I could have months and months more with her, but I'm going to cherish every minute of her!
This blog is really going to be my own advertisement for Powell's Sweet Shoppe in Belmont Shore (Long Beach). The shop just opened this past weekend and I have to say they did a wonderful job of keeping the small town specialty feel. The minute I went in I felt all giddy, and I hadn't even had any sugar yet.
They have a big screen in the back of the shop playing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which has always been a favorite of mine. The wide variety of candy is amazing! Just like the ad says, there are things in there that you haven't seen in ages!
I really hope that the hype of the store doesn't die down. There were people of all ages in there just loving everything they had. This place should be a staple in any small community!
I got jelly bellies for boyfriend and some chocolate for myself. One of the bars was some quality dark chocolate with Earl Gray tea in it! I can't wait for my mom and sister to try it (we're all tea drinkers).
I can't say enough good things about this store. It's a great idea!
