The shop just opened this past weekend and I have to say they did a wonderful job of keeping the small town specialty feel. The minute I went in I felt all giddy, and I hadn't even had any sugar yet.
They have a big screen in the back of the shop playing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which has always been a favorite of mine. The wide variety of candy is amazing! Just like the ad says, there are things in there that you haven't seen in ages!
I really hope that the hype of the store doesn't die down. There were people of all ages in there just loving everything they had. This place should be a staple in any small community!
I got jelly bellies for boyfriend and some chocolate for myself. One of the bars was some quality dark chocolate with Earl Gray tea in it! I can't wait for my mom and sister to try it (we're all tea drinkers).
I can't say enough good things about this store. It's a great idea!
