Not Fun

Yesterday my family found out that my grandma has colon cancer. We will find out how bad it is on Friday but just the thought makes me sad. She's in her late 80's and she's had a full life. She raised five children, blossomed in a church community, directed a pre-school, baptized me in her kitchen sink, traveled all over the world and touched so many lives! To be honest I think she wanted to leave this earth shortly after my grandpa died.

I had a feeling that this would be the year that I would loose her but it still doesn't make it feel very good. I have so many heart warming memories because of her. I could have months and months more with her, but I'm going to cherish every minute of her!
